INTRODUCING THE FALL 2024 LABEL AND VARIETAL
The Lion Trophy
2018 Cabernet Sauvignon – Napa Valley
The Lion Trophy wine celebrates Delta Kappa Epsilon’s highest honor and most esteemed award. This prestigious accolade, named after the Tiffany & Co. trophy, represents the pinnacle of achievement in chapter leadership, scholarship, and community impact. Designed and crafted in pure sterling silver by Tiffany & Co. in 1894 for DKE’s 50th anniversary, the priceless trophy was presented to our last living founder, William Boyd Jacobs, and has since become one of the fraternity’s most valued and enduring artifacts. Awarded annually to the most outstanding chapter, The Lion Trophy embodies the excellence, tradition, and pride that define our brotherhood. With each sip of this distinguished wine, you raise a glass to the pursuit of greatness, the legacy of Delta Kappa Epsilon, and the enduring spirit of leadership that continues to inspire generations.
We introduce you to The Lion Trophy. Deep garnet in color, the aromas of this 2018 Cabernet Sauvignon are pure and focused – concentrated red and black fruits, with cocoa powder and underlying notes of oak barrel spice supporting the fruit forward nature of this wine. Powerful yet balanced tannins are abundant on the palate and are accompanied by notes of dark cherry and blackberry. The mouthfeel is structured, giving way to a long and graceful finish.

INTRODUCING THE SPRING 2024 VARIETAL AND LABEL
Dekes of Distinction
2020 Cuvée Blanc – Napa Valley
Introducing Dekes of Distinction: a wine collection honoring DKE brothers who’ve made significant impacts on the world. This inaugural edition celebrates explorer Robert E. Peary (Theta-Bowdoin ’77) and his legendary 1909 North Pole expedition, in which, while carrying a DKE flag, he became the first person to reach the geographic North Pole. This wine celebrates his extraordinary expedition, a tale of bravery honored the world over. The Deke flag he carried with him is now proudly showcased at the Smithsonian Museum of American History.
We introduce you to Dekes of Distinction. This elegant white wine blend is alluring and complex, with a sensuous offering of tropical fruits, white flowers and subtle spice. The nose is like a bouquet of flowers and jumps from the glass with ripe lemon, white peach and orange blossom followed by notes of toast and white pepper. On the tongue, lemon bursts forward with pineapple and other tropical fruit, with undertones of vanilla. The finish is bright and zingy and mellows with vanilla and subtle spices in its length.
